If you would like to use a commercial piece of music in your production two licenses must be obtained and they are a PPL licence and an LM licence.

A PPL licence
Covers you for the record company and performer’s rights on commercial recordings.
Licences cost £4.00 for each copy of the production (subject to a minimum order of 5 licences)

An LM license
Covers you for the music used within any audio and audio visual product you create from £4.99
